Today, DivvyUp turns two, and it’s been one heck of a ride!
Two years ago, our team embarked on a journey to give clean socks to Tallahassee’s homeless shelter. We didn’t know much about the sock industry or what it took to design and create a DivvyUp sock, all we knew was clean socks were needed and we wanted to tackle the problem sustainably.
Two years later, DivvyUp has enabled the community to gift over 7,500 pairs of socks to those in need across the United States!
Powered by giving, learning and growing, year two brought exciting milestones, valuable lessons, and a refined vision.
– 7,500+ pairs of socks gifted
– 10 homeless shelter partners across 7 states (see them on our interactive giving map!)
– Launched DivvyUp’s Custom Sock Partnership Program
– Raised $11,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals
– Released DivvyUp 2.0
– Created a custom Giving Sock
Though the past year brought incredible highs, it’s the mistakes that taught us the most important lessons. From a canceled Kickstarter campaign to learning the ins and outs of manufacturing, now more than ever, we are optimistic about the future.
If the past is an indicator of what time will hold, DivvyUp will look a lot different in two years, but our mission will always be the same – to be the largest one-for-one company actively giving across the United States.
Today isn’t just about us, it’s a celebration of everyone involved. We want to thank all our friends, family, and community for supporting DivvyUp since the beginning.
Happy Birthday DivvyUp!
